Tones from crystal cleans to bluesy crunch, full on rock to molten modern lead sounds are available at the click of a switch. The IRT60 212 is a thoroughly modern looking 2 x 12″ loaded combo capable of some full on metal tones but it also offers much more than many other metal orientated amps on the market. Loaded with a pair of Custom Designed 12″ HH Drivers the IRT60 212 kicks out 60 Watts RMS of output courtesy of its 2 x 6L6 loaded output section. Its feature packed pre amp is laid out logically and features 3 distinct channels Clean, Rhythm and Lead. Each channel features passive 3 band EQ with push pull options for Deep, mid shift and treble shift which allows you to dial in the exact tone you are after. The master section features an overall Dynamics control which allows you to vary the interaction of the amplifier and the drivers, depending on the volume you are playing at, an overall Tone control, a Laney custom designed Digital Reverb plus a really useful WATTS feature which allows you to dial the output of the amplifier right back to a whisper without destroying your tone. This is a great feature and really useful for recording in your home studio or playing late into the night. One of the coolest features of the IRT60 212 happens right at the front end of the pre amp section. The IRT60 212 features a switchable PRE BOOST facility which functions just like kicking in your favorite boost pedal in front of your amp. Which simple hits the first pre amp tube a little harder giving you more dynamics and feel to your playing.
